The Business Working Group is a team of professionals, academics, researchers, and business leaders dedicated to promoting the application of artificial intelligence in the business sector. The group actively collaborates with industry leaders to identify opportunities for enhancing efficiency through AI-driven innovation and provides support to companies interested in implementing AI solutions in their operations. By fostering partnerships and knowledge exchange, the Business Working Group aims to strengthen the AI ecosystem in Serbia, contributing to the country’s economic development and technological advancement.

Team Lead

Boban Stojanović is a professor of computer science at the Faculty of Science in Kragujevac and the founder of the research and development company Vodena. His current interests focus on exploring automated machine learning and its application in developing digital twins for various technical and social systems. He is the creator of several AI-based software solutions, including a cloud environment optimization service, an automated machine learning platform, and a platform for optimal energy ecosystem management. He firmly believes that education, research, and business application are the three inseparable pillars on which all progress must be built.

• Mapping the Serbian AI ecosystem in collaboration with the Office for Electronic Government of the Government of Serbia, the Center for Digital Transformation of the Chamber of Commerce, UNDP, the Office for Digital Business, and the Republic Secretariat for Public Policies. This project analysed existing companies, startups, research centres, academic institutions, study programs, state institutions, and other relevant organizations contributing to the development of AI technologies. Our plans are to focus on leveraging AI technologies to enhance cybersecurity measures across digital infrastructure. This initiative will explore how artificial intelligence can be utilized to detect and respond to cyber threats more efficiently, predict potential vulnerabilities, and automate security processes.
